Big Brother is listening… According to this study, 69% of consumers say they are “scared” when announcements from Siri (Apple), Alexa (Amazon) and Google Home are based Buy Bulk SMS Service on private conversations. Furthermore, 51% of voice assistant users are worried about being listened to without their consent , including 58% of respondents from Generation Z (18-24 years old) compared to 36% for Baby Boomers (55-75 years). Towards a change in behavior? In an era where the subject of data confidentiality is omnipresent, consumers adopt several types of behavior towards social networks and other voice assistants: Nearly 45% of respondents say they use voice assistants despite the risk of intrusion . When it comes to social networks, 41% of consumers surveyed say they use them less due to privacy concerns. From a generational point of view, it is interesting to note that in order to protect their privacy, 52% of Generation Z respondents have reduced their use of different social networks . A third of those surveyed (32%) say they have stopped using a social network in the last 12 months due to concerns about privacy, with Facebook coming out on top (40%).
